Control your Mind in business

Hi, Miss Alexis here. Welcome to part one in our series of lessons from if it is to be, it is up to me, and in today's lesson we learn the importance of controlling your mind. It is very hard and difficult to stay motivated when you're bogged down with so many negative thoughts and feelings. The Bible tells us in Second Corinthians ten five to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. In short, that means that if it's not true, cast it out, don't dwell on it. You have to sift through the sands of your mind and identify those negative thoughts that are holding you back. I call it removing the land minds. As you know, land minds can explode with the little pressure here, a little pressure...
...there, and boom, your whole life, your business, your relationships are disrupted. Remember, as a person thinks, so is he or she. You have to control your mind, because if you do not control your mind, your mind will control you. An example of this is seen in many people to day who get defeat it before they even start due to wrong thinking. I call it stinking thinking. That is why we must cast down imaginations and every high thing that exhausts itself against the knowledge of God. What are you thinking that is contrary to what God has said? You have to identify those thoughts that you have and weigh them against the truths of God's word and, if it's not true, cast it out as trash and renew your mind with what is true. Don't be controlled by your feelings, because your feelings are fleeting and misleading. And yes, sometimes we don't feel like doing this...
...or that, or we don't feel like it because we don't see the success that we're looking for. But focusing on your feelings gives them power to control you. So, despite of how you feel or how you think, he can't stop this is what I do and I recommend for you as well. This will help you keep moving forward, despite of how you feel or how you think. Visualization. See Yourself there, think about how you would feel if you reached your goal, think about the end results, and that will keep you moving forward. If you keep your eyes on the prize and remember to keep your eyes on Jesus by faith, who is the author, and finish your of your faith and before you know it, you'll be walking on water. So celebrate each accomplishment that you make, because it's mind over matter.
So if you make a choice to win, you will make a choice to trust and believe God's word that you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. So choose not to quit. Sure, it gets hard sometimes and sometimes you do get discouraged, but pray for strength, because God is on your side and he will give you strength when you feel weak. So don't give up, don't give in. Choose to believe God and win. Philippians for eight states that whatsoever, things are true whatsoever, things are honest whatsoever, things are of good report. Think on these things. Remember it starts in the mind, so guard your heart with all diligence, because out of it comes the issues of life. Remember, what you believe will dictate your actions in life. So you control your mind before it controls you. May God gives you strength to control your mind and remember, if it...
